Playboy U is a social networking site owned and operated by Playboy Enterprises, Inc. Launched in August 2007, the site is inspired by other popular social networking sites, such as MySpace and Facebook, in that users may add other users as "friends," post videos and photos, leave comments and messages on a "wall," and send private instant messages.
